Nin is calm and collected. Generally he is very amiable and enjoys spending time with others. He puts great weight in tradition and respect and always carries himself with a noble composure. Extremely eloquent he has great respect for the power of words and will always attempt to talk something out before resorting to violence. He very rarely raises his voice, which has a velvety quality. Despite his non-violent nature he is not above corporal punishment he demands absolute obedience from those who follows him and has no hesitation about taking a life. Born in ancient sumaria his concepts of the world still have remnants of ancient philosophies such as trial by combat.

Despite his origins Nin’s former priesthood gave him a great respect for knowledge and learning, so he spends most of his free time with a book in hand. In his mind books are the most valuable treasures in the world repositories of knowledge that he equates with power. A perpetual student of philosophy and law, he would describe his personal philosophies as a cross between Nietzche and hobbes, believing in the idea of a social contract as well the concepts of the immoralist, the uberman, and the will to power. This thought style is part of the reason he was sent to hell and he continues to have an almost insatiable lust for power and influence.

Unlike most sinners Nin does not want to escape, no he wants to take over, he envisions an army forged in hell fire that he will use to conquer all worlds and rule them from his throne in hell. Incredible at reading people Nin can almost always tell how a person is feeling at any given moment. He also has a great joy in corrupting people and wants to send as many people as he can to hell in order to help bolster the ranks of the sinner army. To this respect he works tirelessly whether it be researching ways to conquer hells will or training new sinners, he cares deeply for the sinner organization because they are his key to power and together they will sweep across the worlds in a torrent of fire and destruction.

His greatest weakness is gambling, with an almost addictive draw to it he will rarely turn down an offer and loves games of all sorts. Infinitely patient his games will sometimes go on for hundreds of years. Despite this he is also a sore loser, however he will not cheat. This is not to say he will not do something perceived as cheating however, if it’s not explicitly stated in the rules as being cheating… it’s not cheating.

General Fighting Style:
Nins fighting style focuses on strength and endurance. He is very good with his weapons and very strong. Generally speaking he plays the part of the aggressor in combat but his strength lies in his defensive skills. Not one for traps, he also does not fight with all brawn and uses his head to learn about his foe. When fighting against an enemy he relies heavily on his energy reserves which are very deep and mental warfare trying to use various tactics to both scare his opponent and throw them off their groove. When it comes to armed combat his sword work is good but his shield work is exceptional and it is as much a weapon as his blade is. While very agile, he is not terribly fast about average for his tier. For the most part his fighting style revolves around keeping his opponent at close range and off-balance. He will often use his will creations to that effect. He never panics or loses his focus, to do so was to die in his human days.

A rather simple ability taught to him by his former mentor Xolotl, by activating he can see as he would normally but with a 360 degree field of view. When he does this his eye’s become jet black losing any hint of other colors and appearing as a bottomless void.

Effect:
A specialized form of reaitsu unique to Nin all his energy baised attacks are formed by it. Infernal reiatsu has two unique properties First it increases wound size by 1cm radially the post after they are made on telepathic command and second it slows an enemy down by 5% per hit which can stack to 30% maximum this effect lasts for 3 posts.

Effect:
Nin can form up to six, fifteen foot infernal tendrils , they are jet black and formed by infernal reiatsu. They can come from his body or any object he is in physical contact with.

Hells cloak

Effect:
A two layer invisible barrier around Nin the first layer known as the skin is closest to the skin is essentially a sinner version of hierro and is equivalent to a strong hierro for his tier. The outer layer known as the cloak reduces all damage by 70% damage but, once the cloak is hit in an area that area of the cloak fades away for a while, regardless of the strength of the attack. This fade away lasts for the remainder of the opponents post and is sectional by torso, head, and limbs. For example a bala is shot and hits Nin in the chest the surface area of the blast shimmers and next to no damage is done for the rest of the post the outer layer of the cloak no longer protects that area and all attacks go through un-blocked by the outer cloak. To reiterate any level of attack causes the outer cloak to dissipate even throwing a rock. The outer layer of the Cloak has no effect on moves marked as Final.

Infernal reiatsu blasts

Effect:
The manipulation of corrosive infernal reiatsu in a variety of styles. This energy jet black in nature is similar to regular reaitsu however all wounds created by it have the added damage of a corrosive effect extending the wound 1cm in all directions. The next post after the wound is created. The main attack from this ability is that by concentrating energy into his hand or any object he holds, Nin can release six homing blasts equal in size and strength to a bala that chase after a target. In order for this ability to work the target must have been exposed at least once to his infernal Reaitsu. (Two post cool down) Nin can also fire these one at a time however they lose the homing effect and act like bala. In addition Nin can fire Cero, Gran rey Cero, and Cero Oscura like blasts with equivalent strengths, speeds, and cool downs, these cool down effects are separate from the homing version.

(note: one at a time they are as fast as a bala, the homing effect reduces their speed by 35%)

Demonic Shout

Effect:
By gathering reiatsu within in his lungs Nin can create different offense abilites which appear like shouting. All demonic shouts share a one post cool-down except infernal blast that has a two-post cool down (also shared):

Blow back:
A concussive blast roughly three times the size of a cero it blows all but the heaviest of opponent back twenty feet, but does not do a lot of damage.

Banshee shriek
A powerful shriek which hits a subsonic frequency causing anyone besides Nin who hears it to experience a complete audio visual reversal ie. left is right, right is left and up is down. Effect lasts for three posts.

Infernal blast:
Releases a blast of thousands of zanpakuto hard shards obscured by thick purple smoke, which travel at equivalent speed, force, and radius to a cero, the shards are covered in Nin ‘s infernal reiatsu.

Dark Miasma

Effect:
Diabolic miasma is a translucent purplish vapor that Nin can excrete from his body. It is infused with his reiatsu and surrounds the area within fifteen yards of him once released. It exists for four posts with a three-post cool down and produces two effects.

Within the miasma Nin can create illusions that have no physical form but can create audiovisual effects they cannot exceed twice Nin’s size. Second the miasma absorbs the reiatsu of any reiatsu based within the cloud by fifty percent when the cloud dissipates it then releases a reiatsu discharge equal in strength to 1/2 the absorbed reiatsu back at the subject (the physical appearence of this is the fog surging into them.). (Nin can violate the size rule for his illusions but only in that he can turn the gas invisible to remove the visually distorting effects.)

Demon will of creation

Effect:
By gathering his reiatsu Nin can create semi-conscious beings which can follow simple tasks as of now he can only create the following three: (Must remain within fifty yards of Nin and only one type can be created at a time. All creations are tiered at Nin's tier minus 3)

Wraiths:
Created three at a time with a two post cool down; wraiths are ghost like beings that have no physical form. They can take on any appearance however their natural form is shown below. The only attack Wraiths can do is called detonate and it is exactly how it sounds they explode with force of a Cero on telepathic command, a wraith MUST be in its natural form to detonate and cannot exist in the world for longer then four posts.

Skelton Stalks
Created four at a time Skeltal stalks are stationary unable to move from their point of creation they appear like large skeletal arms covered in purple energy with hands roughly one foot across. Their bones are as hard as steel and they are as strong as Nin (minus five tiers). They have a three-post cool down and can only exist for two posts. The arms are five feet long making shoulder fingertip six feet. They must rise out of a solid surface within twenty yards of Nin. Cool down begins the second they are created. (Cannot be summoned on opponent items or controlled material)

Effect:
A last resort ability Nin transforms into a powerful demon covered in a strong armor (picture in spoiler). This form lasts for three posts including the transformation posts; it doubles his speed, endurance and strength and turns all ability cool-downs to till end of post. When the ability wears off Nin is left fatigued to the point where he can barely walk. As an additional feature of this ability, only during events this also boosts the strength of his Sinner allies by 1 sub tier for the duration of his Demon form maximum of 1-1. This only effects Sinners who are part of the rebels of hell, who are in the thread.

Name:
Gemma Diabolos Fusion (based off of the Artifact of Dante mentioned on my character info page Gemma Diabolos)

Effects:
During his time imprisoned within the pocket dimension Nin has been meditating on the Gemma Diabolis one of the artifacts left behind by Dante. After years he has learned that he has never used the jewel properly in fact he had been using the sealed version of the powerful artifact. By allowing the gem to fuse with his reiatsu he has gained its' abilities in their full form his very eyes the resting place for the gems power.

Dark Suggestion:

By pushing reiatsu into the gem sealed behind his eyes while thinking of a target an emotion, and a thought, the gem can cause the target to think that thought. This is done through the use subliminal suggestion thus it is not an over writing command simply a thought which enters into the subjects mind and acts as though it were their own, from here they can ignore it, listen to it, whatever they want. It can only affect one target at a time and the target must be within twenty feet of him. The thought must be linked to an emotion otherwise it lacks the power to pass from Nin to another. An example of this would be Nin pushing the thought "I wish he was dead" with the emotion wrath into a persons mind. The subject would feel a flash of anger and think that thought about whomever Nin was pushing it towards, however they could then turn up their nose and say why would I think that, that's not true.

Dark Projection:

By pushing reiatsu into his eyes and making direct eye contact, Nin can amplify a natural feeling within the target to near psychotic level. This feeling must already be a strong feeling in the target and the effects last for seven posts. (once per thread, though it's a bit redundant I want to state the thought HAS to a real feeling he can't plant it then amplify it.)

Surface Telepathy:

A very simple ability of Nin's allowing him to hear the thoughts of another, these thoughts must be at the front of their mind and Nin can hear three peoples thoughts at a time. He cannot pry into someone's subconscious or anything and those with very powerful sensing abilities would be able to feel his attempts to read their thoughts in the form of a dark ominous aura emanating from him. This ability also allows Nin to communicate telepathically with others. He can use this ability on anyone out of combat but in combat he can only use it on people 4 tiers below him and more.

Diabolic skin:

Using the power of the gem Nin can cover himself in a powerful illusion changing his appearance and the feel of his reiatsu to any other Human, Shinigami, Vizard, Arrancar, Quincy, or Sinner. Because of their former god like nature he cannot do this with Sigillium Dei.

Dante’s journal

Effect:
Using his new ability to absorb Dante artifacts, he has absorbed Dantes journal into his reiatsu granting him its knowledge and its abilities. The power of this artifact is stored within Nins heart, similar to how the gemma diabolos is stored in his eyes.

Shadow walk:
This ability allows Nin to step through any shadow on earth back into hell and vice versa, it is a non-combat ability but can be used to escape from combat and thus end his involvement in the thread.

Chapter of Chaos:
Using this ability Nin can summon a glowing black book which when opened releases an invisible wave hitting everything in a five mile radius. This ability which can be used once per thread has a variety of effects on NPC’s Tier 3-5 and under it affects their minds lowering their inhibition and amplifying thoughts of fear, anger, and violence. (Used on large populaces it can cause riots, looting, rebellion and well chaos) on everyone else it just amplifies the lure of which ever deadly sin they feel most affiliated with diminishing returns as tiers get higher. (No effect on tier 1-4 or higher, lasts for ten posts.)

Apocalypse Gateway:
An extremely large version of the doors of hell it allows any number of sinners temporary freedom from hell, freeing them from their masks. However after seven posts the gate closes pulling anyone who came through instantly back to hell, as Nin collects more of the Nine artifacts of Dante this will last longer, this will be edited after each artifact is absorbed.

Diabolic Lore:
Because of the knowledge hidden within the journal Nin has discovered an ancient ritual to awaken the darkness within any being instantly turning them into a Sinner. The dark blessing is a blood ritual and binds the subject changing their reiatsu and self into a sinner. It must be the choice of the recipient and therefore cannot be done forcefully, however once the subject becomes a Sinner their inner evil overwhelms the good and thus, a good person can become an evil Sinner this is generally accompanied by a change in personality.


Background:
Nin was born thousands of years ago in ancient sumer, born the son of the high priest the path of life was determined from a young age. He would be a warrior priest like his father and his father before him. At the age of sixteen however he changed his fate, high priest and advisor to a weak and feeble minded king he decided to take power for himself, slaying the king and assuming role of high priest king a title that hadn’t been used since the first king of the summerian people. Determined to live up to his title he raised his armies against a bordering kingdom conquering their people and enslaving them, as was the tradition back then. As ruthless as a leader as he was a warrior he cut a path of blood and conquest across the known world expanding his kingdom by nearly half in a short six years. The world trembled in fear of King Utu the chosen warrior of their gods; subject and enemy alike feared his strength. However, in his arrogance, lost in a feeling of immortality, he led an attack against the mightiest empire of Mesopotamia. The war lasted for years and he watched as his kingdom crumbled around him. The war became known as the great red river for both sides were losing men by the hundreds. Day by day the two empires fell upon each other and the hatred and blood shed only grew worse. In the end his own generals, in a deal struck with the opposition to take down both kings and create a truce before the entire world was submerged in blood and fire, assassinated Nin.

Dying with blood in his lungs Nin was unable to forgive his generals and could not pass to the next life. Unfortunately for him his stay in this world did not last long with the streets bathed in blood soul reapers where pre-deployed to help all the souls find peace and prevent a massive influx of new hollow. However, when soul burial was performed on him the gates of hell rose from the depths and slowly opened the powerful will of hell reaching out and pulling him down to the oblivion of hell.

The first hundred years or so in hell where terrible, they changed him… beat the ego out of him and awoke something new… something primal. Survival became everything to him, he would endure… hell had nothing on him. The centuries blended together and his strength tripled and tripled again. Soon he knew every nook and cranny of hell. Around then is when he met Xolotl at that point the most powerful sinner in hell. The two hit it off right away, becoming fast friends and accomplices. It was rare to form bonds in hell, even rarer to form ones as strong as the ones between Nin and Xolotl. Friends, lovers, warriors, no boundaries existed between them and no secrets kept them apart.

Slowly Xol as Nin called him founded the organization known as the knights of hell, Xol as the leader and Nin his second in command. Together they plotted escapes, commandeered turf, slew guardians, and in time Xol even reached the level of strength where he was nearing the ability to resist the will of hell. However, unfortunately this was when things turned bad. Hell sensing the threat to its existence zeroed in on Xol and his followers, they were hunted one by one, over and over. Soon they began to break, loose the will to revive; to survive until finally Xol fell losing his will to continue. Hell left them alone but the group was shattered without its leader. With his final act Xol gave Nin his sword, shield, and a powerful gem on a necklace telling him to keep up the fight if he could.

After the death of Xol, Nin was forced to continue on without him, an idea he did not relish. Returning to a life of survival he fought day and night to find a new way to keep up the fight. Years passed and he spent his days training, or breaking out of hell to do research and have fun. Though true information was scarce over time he believed he found a way to break the endless cycle to establish a kingdom in hell for sinners. However, he would need a few things. Most importantly an army, a group and force to carry out his plan, luckily this was hell and if there were two thing sinners liked to do it was to fight and rebel.

After gaining the position of king of Hell, Nin began his efforts to destroy the other organizations and grow his power and influence. Recruiting Sinners to serve under him it seemed he would be an unrelenting and unstoppable force, however he noticed that he lacked a key ability, that is to heal. He needed a sinner who could heal others, so he attempted to convert a shingami healer named Elena DuPointe into a sinner to heal his troops however, he fell in love with her and as a result ended up falling into a trap set by her son and husband sealing him away in a pocket dimension. Within the pocket dimension Nin waits biding his time and watch the world pass before him from his prison, he will have his freedom.

Now freed from his Prison after twenty years outside the prison and 200 within Nin reclaimed his throne in hell. Quickly absorbing the power of the other Dante artifact he obtained before he was imprisoned he has begun his search for the remaining artifacts, the entrance to the center of hell and the domination of all the worlds after freeing his army.

Can not block ALL damage. that wouldn't be far to like a final resort attack and your clock blocks it harmlessly

how fast are they, a homing attack that moves at the speed of Bala is unfair, and more or less undodgeable since bala is the fastest move in the show.

Upped the defensive abilities of the cloak of hell then changed it so the outer layer doesn’t work on abilities marked final.

He now has cero equivalent attacks of all forms (gran rey, oscura ect..) made of his infernal reiatsu they have all the standard CD’s an speeds.

Infernal blast is completely rewritten

Upped the sapping ability of dark miasma from 1 to 2%

Demonic Creations no longer have shared CD’s.

I just briefly skimmed it. Reading what you changed on Dark Miasma, I only looked at that, and is what I'm most concerned with.

I do not like it at all. It's draining their power just by being inside it. If you were just absorbing non-physical abilities that were being used inside that field (or enters that field), then I would be good, but just zapping their power like that is a no. Adding it to your own reserves only makes it worse, and is auto-denied. Absorbtion is very highly regulated. If those were there before...I have no idea why anyone else (myself included) did not catch that and say no to it. If you absorbed them, and then can only hold them for a certain amount of time or added to the reserves for a limited amount of time and then have to expel them somehow, and then limit to how much you can absorb, I would probably be good.

It's a small amount, true. But that adds up with every use.

Another thing that caught my eye was the limited amount of weaknesses you have (again, something I didn't catch). A pure physical fighter. No ranged abilities. Falls for tricks easily. Two weaknesses. One of which is a character flaw that I need an example of. I need something else there. A slight weakness to certain elemental/energy abilities, moving something to average, something (moving keen observer does not count, as that's more of a personality thing).

I changed the miasma so it doesn't feed into Nin but simply rebounds back at the subject when the cloud dissipates. In terms of the weakness's Speed was already average just listed in the main paragraph not under weakness's. In terms of an example of his gambling/pride weakness, hes loosely based on the devil look at most of the mythos about him to find tons of examples of the devil being played by his pride, vanity ect... It's essentially that he tends to be over confident.

That's a lot better, but could still use some edits. They still don't have to do anything for their reiatsu to be absorbed and used against them. That's my deal with it. I would like it if they used a reiatsu based attack (non-physical elements and energy attacks) and it enters that field (or they use it while inside it), and then it's absorbed and you do the thing. Then I would be hey ok with it.

Weaknesses looks better too. I'm still iffy on that character flaw...but I'll let it go.

gotta agree with jun, absorption abilities that take directly from an opponant are banned, If i missed it before sorry. Kano had a similar ability and had to remove it. you can still absorb energy based attacks from the air though, and you can always increase the intake a little.

changed the ability so it absorbs reiatsu attacks and upped it to 50%

I don't particularly like the outer layer of the Hell's Cloak. It's like an ultimate defense that can only be broken by final moves (as it completely blocks everything else). Lower the percentage down to 50% (Zenke's thought) of the attack's power blocked/weakened. With the other little bit in there...it might work. It might need some more tweaking depending on what else Zenke says on it, if anything at all. Your tough inner layer will lower damage even more. This guy is more or less the biggest tank on site.

Infernal Reiatsu blasts, the cero, Gran Rey, and Oscuras cannot be homing? Just clarifying, since the six bala barrage is (though with a slightly reduced speed).

Demons of creation: The more of them that are summoned, the smaller their tier should be. The minimum is three tiers lower, for one summoning. This pertains to each individual type of summoning. So your wraiths should be closer to 5 tiers lower. The skeleton ones...the cooldown begins whenever they are done, not when they're created...otherwise you can just spam them, a consistant wall of monsters, and summoning isn't your only ability. Since they can't move, I'd allow them to be 5 tiers lower than Nin, but they will not be just as strong as he is, physically strong, yes, but not as strong as he is. Keep in mind, I'm thinking that they also have a lot of durability too, judging from your description.

Surface Telepathy needs some limits. Mind reading is very well regulated, especially in a combat situation. I'd rather you state that it doesn't effect during combat, and outside of combat, not only those that are great sensors can tell, but also those with great mental discipline can tell, and even repel his attempts. And I'd also limit the number of people at a time he can talk to via the telepathy. You can still use it to communicate to your allies during battle. Might want to look at Anna Reinhart's app. for this one (she's also a sinner).

Diabolic Skin: I'd have to deny the bounto one. Kinda hard to mimic something you can't sense. Unless you have something like Rai's eyesight, which you don't, just the 360 vision. Though I wouldn't object to something similar to Rai's eyesight in addition to the 360 vision. Otherwise just know that those with Rai's eyesight can tell that you're disguising your reiatsu and in combat, it'll become very difficult to maintain if not shut off. Depending on his control. Otherwise, the closest you can get to "disguising" yourself as a bounto is simply suppressing it completely.

Chapter of Chaos...I'm iffy on. On one hand, most player characters that you'll be dealing with will be in that range that it won't effect...but then there are those less than that...if you state that those between 2-5 and up to 1-5 can resist the temptations or whatever, then I think it'll be good. Though it'll suck for large organizations that have a lot of NPCs...

Apocalypse Gateway: How strong are these Sinners?

Demon Cloak:
In terms of the cloak are you ok with a 75% reduction after all a single hit lowers the defense of that entire area for the rest of the post, throwing a handful of pebbles at him would shut the entire cloak off with a easily visible shimmering effect, most characters with average or above intelligence will quickly be able to figure this out.

Infernal blasts:
Just the reduced speed bala are homing everything else is just normal.

Demons of creation:
I don't understand why the wrath need tiers they are ghosts with no physical form and one ability which is to detonate essentially they are regular cero with a cool down and and an illusion effect. What is the tier effecting?

The skeletal hands tier have been reduced.

Surface telepathy:
This was already one at a time so I can't really limit this to less people. In terms of in combat its' only a surface telepathy it has to be an active thought, reactions and moves wouldn't be understood but say if someone slid back and thought about a trap they set for him he would be aware. I've fought a char with the same ability on this site and had no issues about it.

Diabolic skin:
Removed bount. I have no idea what Rai's eyesight does so if he can see through hidden reiatsu then yup thats fine.

Chapter of chaos:
I mean it's kinda implicit they can resist this temptation anyone can resist temptation the ability makes them feel it stronger that's it. For example say it effected my char Giddian his closest sin would be Pride, as result he may be more daring and little more over confident is he going to shut off patch and run in half hazard, no... will he be more likely to try and set off one of his traps before learning every little detail about his opponent (which is what he normally tries to do) yes. For Sin he would probably drink a bit more during the fight making him maybe show an opening while drinking.

Apocalypse Gateway:
They are the Sinners of hell, probably some weak NPC's and the members of the org he is in charge of. The thing I'm avoiding using this is having hells will come and snatch members of the org should a large scale attack from hell occur on earth. its basically a free pass from the need to have a mask to leave hell for seven posts.

The tough hierro under that is what's getting us. We can go with that though, if it shuts down the entire cloak.

Reread the wraiths, you're right. Those don't need a tier since all they can do is explode and change what they look like. So long as they're somewhat easy to destroy, they're good. Skeleton stalks are good too. Except the cooldown starting the second they are created...that needs to be changed, see my earlier post.

Who has a mind reading ability that is usable in combat? That's the type of thing that we don't want. Setting up a trap is hardly the only situation where you could do that (thinking of your moves ahead of time is the next obvious thing). Don't know why I didn't see that one person thing...maybe I was thinking that it didn't apply when you were communicating to them and not just reading them...my bad. But the rest...not usable in combat. Out of combat also stands. Or just know that those with great mental discipline will know it too, Idc. The combat part is the important thing. Prediction abilities like Aki's Electro-detection is already pretty iffy.
