Cara Explores New York(Open)

New york was fascinating. The sights, the smells, the people. Cara was enjoying herself. Compared to the small village in china she'd stumbled into a few months ago, the city of new york was gargantuan. She felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people. Even seireitei, as modern and busy as it had become, was nothing compared to a human city. There was so much noise, made worse by her enhnanced hearing. Her brown hair swished left and right, as her keen eyes scanned everything and anything that moved.

Cara wore a simple skirt and tights, with a thick winter coat. it was cold out, and though she thought it might snow it did not. As she explored the busy streets, heading towards the large park, she was sure something was watching her. She wondered if her Aunt had sent someone to keep an eye on her. Grainne hadn't been keen on the idea of her heading into the human world alone, but had only showed her how to send for help, instead of trying to stop her.

Still, how dangerous could a city be?

Ika was for some godawful reason prowling through New York, probably looking around to see what god-awful mischief he could get himself into for the day.. Actually, he was now a construction worker much like any common man. He had even offered to marry a woman earlier and relegated her to housewife status, because why the fuck not. It made sense after all seeing as Ika was a bit of an asshole, and girls seemed to get along fairly well with him, thus he could get his way when he wanted. None the less, he was busy working on the Freedom Towers aka World Trade Center 2.0 which yes, up to this point were STILL not completed. As he got to work, Ika realized that he was bored of this shit, and wanted something else to do.. He quickly phoned his new fiance and told her it was over, and he wouldn't be paying child support if she was pregnant. Because fuck your baby.

Some might say Ika is a bit of an asshole, and others might say he was a lot of an asshole. There were no other opinions about him at all, so you really kind of have to pick one at this point to be honest. Now then, as he got tired of working there Ika quickly ran into the Freedom Tower, a construction site much like the ones a lovely Shinigami was looking at, and he yelled very loudly "ALLAHU AKBAR" and lit a stick of dynamite attached to about 300 fireworks he stole from a store prior to this.. He then threw it in the air and some of it in each floor of the building before once more yelling, "ALLAHU AKBAR!" He quickly threw off his construction gear, and Shunpo'd out of the wreckage of the building, more than a little giddy with what he had just done. Upon doing this, he saw a Shinigami with a thick winter coat, and a skirt with tights. "Oh uh. Hi."

The falling building was soon engulfed in ice, and then blown to bits with lightning from two spells in Kai's arsenal. So no one was killed by the falling debris. The unassuming silverette glared at the vizard and showed his power...his monstrous amount of spiritual power, even when compared to the likes of Grainne or Darkmoon. "If you were smart...you'll leave this city and never return. And should an officer be near you when you next show yourself...they'll be ordered to take you down. Make your choice." He was just returning from his lunch break...his even still had his coffee in his hand.

A blond that looked a lot like Riku Tomoshibi also showed up, along with a police officer. Jun tapped the Shinigami on the shoulder. "Let's go...this will get messy, and technically is in our jurisdiction instead of your's." Jun hopefully escorted the oddly dressed Shinigami away from the situation. While the police officer took out a pair of tonfas and flared his own spiritual pressure, showing he was clearly captain class.

Jun introduced himself first once they were well away from the altercation. "I'm Jun Tomoshibi. The police officer back there was my dad, and the first guy there was Kai, the Coalition's leader. We...don't take disturbances like that lightly. What's your name?" He started up some friendly conversation.

Gaige had given him a free tag along to New York since his training was going so well and she figured it was about time he started to see the rest of the world. She had told him that he didn't have to tag along with her, just keep his phone handy so that he could contact her whenever they were ready to leave or when he needed help with something but to not try to call too often, that she was working. She also told him that if he found the time to try and find the Coalition and report to them that he's a spiritual being and her student. That it should relieve some later stress and make things in the future go more smoothly as his training continued. He didn't really know what she was talking about but nodded his head and used the phone as best as he could for navigating the streets of New York. He was eager to be capable of seeing all the sights and other things he had heard about. It was winter after all.

His black hair was mostly hidden under a beanie and the only parts visible were his bangs in the front, a row of black broken up by two stripes of white. His jacket a was white and red with various logos on it, he had spent some time catching up on some e-sports while he was back in Arizona. There wasn't much else for him to do in the hideout anyways once his training was over but to eat and sleep.The various logos had many different software names and some Korean names but none he was truly familiar with. An explosion drew his attention away from his phone. As he started to run to investigate the entire tower that had started to collapse turned to ice. That certainly wasn't something he should be running towards but the training sword in cardboard tube on his back and the pistol hidden on his hip gave him enough courage to keep on going.

When he got there he saw a blonde boy and a girl being escorted away and saw the officer with his tonfa's out. The situation was already underhand it seemed, but all that work for the tower gone in an instant. Things really never do change. He walked over towards the girl and boy. "Hey there. What uh... What just happened here?"

Cara heard the explosion and nearly jumped out her skin. It took all of her willpower to not be flying in the opposite direction as a bird, but instead she tried to find where it had come from. And then a Vizard appeared infront of her, looking guilty and a little bit shocked to see her. She backed away reaching for the daggers at her back, wary, even as ice appeared and caught the falling building and stopped it. Then a man ordered the vizard to leave or he'd regret it, and a pair of blond humans, one with tonfas drawn and ready to fight, appeared.

Cara was ten feet back from that by the time the boy approached and gently tapped her shoulder. He said they should leave, and it wasn't her place to get involved. "Jurisdiction? Oh of course, the gotei would deal with this anywhere else. I'm not going to argue, because I'm not a member of the gotei. Or even a trained shinigami. My aunt is though." She said. Just to reassure him that she wasn't a dangerous rogue or anything. They walked away from the situation, and when it was safe he introduced himself.

Cara gave him a smile and extended her hand to shake. "Cara Xios. Nice to meet you Jun tomoshibi." As she said his name, she recognized it from somewhere. But then a boy appeared and approached them, asking about what had happened, and the thought was torn away. Cara looked back in the direction of where, what ever that incident, had been. "That was... Some kind of volatile vizard firework show or something.. I'm not really sure what happened." She said to him.

As the building collapsed under the immense Spiritual Pressure that the man exhibited, Ika was nearly brought to a knee. Nearly, thankfully, the man was probably distracted by the fact that the building was now collapsing due to his show of force. As this distraction presumably caught the man off guard, Ika made a point to make a quick and otherwise discreet exit from the area. There was no way he could fight that man, and he had little point in trying to. "It was just a prank Jesus, how the heck was I to know that was Dynamite.." He rolled his eyes, and Shunpo'd on.

As he came to a Hollow which had appeared about a mile out of the city, he smiled lightly to himself.. realizing the problems he had been having with this new Coalition deal of late, and realized he needed to depart at once.. as he thought this, he Shunpo'd through the Gargantua. He was going to the White Sands of Hueco Mundo, and he had a plan. No one would see him of course, and the way he dove through would look like a desperate attempt for escape more than anything else.. "Time to see what awaits me here.."
