Early Days

Sarah was now living in New York after the events that unfolded back home. Shes been living in New York for about a week now in a 1 bedroom apartment. She took up a job in florists. Helping keep the shop clean and sell some flowers. This job was just to keep her busy until something from the coalition came up.

The sun was shinning the streets were alive with the sounds of people going about their daily lives. Meanwhile Sarah was in the florists sweeping the floor.
"Man, I'm so bored. I've been here a week and nothing fun has happened." The ground beneath Sarah started to shake. "Where did that come from?" Sarah looked out the shop window to see what was going on outside. Cars were getting tossed around the place, people were running around in a panic. Sarah stepped outside to get a better look at the situation. There was a hollow going on a bit of a rampage through the streets. Attacking and killing people.

"Finally something to do. I get to fight my first hollow"
Sarah went after the hollow. After five minutes of chasing it she finally caught up with it. "Alright you ugly bastard lets dance"
Sarah lunged at the hollow forgetting she was holding the broom used to the shop floor rather then her hammer. She hit the hollow with the broom which did nothing to it. Sarah then realising her mistake said "Oh, crap". The hollow punched Sarah sending her flying into a nearby building. Sarah now lying on the ground dazed started mumbling gibberish for minute but, eventually snapped out of it and leapt back into action. Sarah now standing face to face with the hollow again summoned her hammer straight away this time. "Ok, lets dance".

The hollow roared at Sarah and started running towards her. Sarah waited till the hollow got in close. Just as the hollow reached her she leapt up in the air and then slammed her hammer down on the hollows head. "Stop, Hammer Time". The blow to the head dazed the hollow. While it was dazed Sarah hit it again sending it flying into a nearby building site causing a building under construction to collapse and fall on top of the hollow. "Oh, thank god there were no workers there, I think" Sarah ran towards the construction site to see if the hollow was dead. Upon arriving at the site there were a group of angry workers standing outside the place. Sarah not wanting to deal with this right snuck onto the site to check if the hollow was dead. After a few minutes of checking the place out and there being now sign of the hollow it was safe to say it was dead. Sarah left the site and headed back to work.

Back at the shop. "Whew that was a tough fight. I hope no one from the coalition saw that. I may have caused more damage then the hollow. Oh, well back to work "

An average sized, young man with long red hair and blue eyes was sitting in a cafe, eating breakfast. He wore a white coat with a black longsleeved undershirt and grey pants. A pair of green fingerless gloves lay on the table. The man was just about finished when the ground shook and there was a massive bang nearby. He looked out the window to see a girl get power slammed by a large hollow, and sent flying into a wall. Jack jumped from his seat and threw some money to the waitress, appolagising to her that he had to rush out suddenly.

As he reached the street he spotted the girl, she was still alive surprisingly, who charged and slammed a hammer down on the hollow, then hit it again and sent it flying towards him and into a construction site. Jack's first though was to the people in there, so he moved to give chase after the hollow. It was trying to get back up as he came in. He pulled a sword from his container and finished it off. Satisfied he began to look for injured people, missing the girl who came looking for the hollow a few seconds after.

Jack found no one besides a group of angry workers, and headed back to the street. There was no sign of the girl. He sighed and started walking away, but glanced back, and spotted her leaving the scene. Jack smiled. "Found ya." The irish youth went after her, following her to a flower shop before he caught up. He walked in the door a grin on his face as his sword vanished into his container. "Hello, lass. You've caused quite a bit of trouble out there."

Sarah continued sweeping but, it wasnt before some one entered the shop. The person said something to Sarah but, she didnt hear or even notice he there. She was too lost in thought about the hollow fight earlier. She continued to sweep for a minute until the sweeping she was doing caused her to bump into the guy.

Sarah stopped sweeping and looked she bumped into, it was a strange looking guy with long red hair wearing coat and black undershirt and grey pants. Sarah put her face right up against his and started examining him closely giving a hmmm and ah everynow and then. She eventually backed off and said "You must be a thief. Well dont you know thieves are supposed to be sneaky. If you didnt know that you must really suck at being a thief. No wonder you're trying to rob a florists. Well thief I better warn I can fight." Sarah stepped back from the "thief" and demonstrated her skills.

She grabbed the broom with both hand and held it in front of her. She let go of it with her right now just holding with her left she started twirling it then passing it between her left and right hands. This display went on for about a minute then she stopped and said "Well what say you thief? You scared? Well if that doesnt scare you this will I fought and killed a monster today. Wanna see how?"

Sarah dropped the broom and summoned her hammer. "Now watch closely thief. First I let the monster get close and hit it on the head"She stared at a potted plant for a minute while saying this then hit with her hammer smashing it to bits. Then while it was dazed from this I hit it again Sarah gave large broad sweeping swing from her hammer causing several plants and flowers to be destroyed and a bit of wall too. "So, thief what you going to do?" After saying this it dawned on Sarah what she had just done to the shop it was a mess flowers and plants everywhere and a bit of wall gone. "Oh, crap I'm going to get fired for this. Quick thief hide me. If you do I'll be your friend and I wont make fun of you for being sucky thief."

Jack stared, perplexed at the girl. She continued to ignore him until she bumped into him and started to stare at him. He stared back, slightly confused. Then she called him a thief and a bad one at that. Jack tried to reply but couldn't get a word in edge wise, his mouth hanging lightly open as he stared at her in confusion as she began to spin the broom, then started smashing up the shop with a large hammer.

It seemed to have taken her a couple of seconds to realise what she had done but when it did her attitude changed. She suddenly wanted to be freinds. Jack sighed, and pointed to the back of the shop. "I'll help you, go out the back door. Leave the broom and a phone or something, we'll pretend I kidnapped you."

He headed for the back door and went into the alley, waited for the girl to arrive. He pointed to a roof access ladder. "Climb, you should travel across the roofs they wont expect that." He used bringer light to launch himself up and waited for her, when she finally joined him he explained who he was. "I'm a member of the coalition. I seen you fight that hollow, you did good. Whats your name, lass?"

The "thief" sighed at Sarah and said he would help. He told her to head out the back door of the shop. Sarah wrote a note saying that she was kidnapped and possibly dead, also the mess in the shop was cause by freak wind that blew through the shop. She placed the note on the counter and headed out the back of the shop.

She wait out the back for a minute then the "thief" arrived and told her to climb the ladder upto the roof then he used some sort of power to launch himself up there instantly. "Thats no fair the stupid gets to teleport up there while I have to climb. I know if I knock down the wall the roof will fall down to me and will be there much quick." Sarah thought about this for a minute but, then realised if she does that she will get in more trouble. "Well, guess I'm climbing then"

Sarah grabbed hold of the ladder and started climbing. While she climbed she shouted to many swears and told the thief he better not be trying to look down her top while she was climbing. After 5 minutes of swearing and shouting she made it to the top. She crawled along the roof towards the "thief". "Finally made it so, tired". The "thief" explained who he was to Sarah. Sarah passed out for a second while he was talking but, perked right back up after he said he was a coalition member.

"Really you're a coalition member and not a thief? I'm sorry for calling you a thief and bad one at that but, seriously dont be a thief you would suck at it. So, you saw how I beat the face off that hollow wasnt it awesome?" Sarah walked behind him and slowly put her mouth up to his ear and whispered into it "Let me tell you a secret"She took a deep breath and then shouted in his ear "I'm amazing" She then backed away from him and said So, what now mister coalition,guy? then winked at him.

Somewhere, a car parked. A young man got out, sighing. He got into the back, grabbed a coat, and a new guitar case. Putting on the coat, which was black, and made of leather, he strung the guitar case to his his back. Running his hand through his, now blonde-streaked hair, he started walking down the street. He was wearing a favorite t-shirt of his, a signed Metallica shirt, black pants, and black combat boots. He had an Ankh necklace. This guy, was Saisei Chitose.

He sighed again, rolling his shoulder. He wasn't used to the guitar case. However, he still carried it. That is when he felt it. A hollow, nearby. Looking around, he then moved towards it. It jumped between to buildings. Saisei, realizing his chance, opened the guitar case. Inside, was a very finely crafted katana. it was made by his Ancestor uncle. He took it out, and left the guitar case. Using his bringer light, he propelled after the Hollow, moving in front of it. "Bye." He said, aiming to cleave it's head in two. However, he underestimated how fast the Hollow was. dodging hid blow, it knocked him away, tearing his shirt. He landed on a building, on looked at his now ruined favorite shirt. "I am going to rip your fucking head off!" He said, grabbing his necklace, and pouring Rietsu into it.

It turned into a big Broadsword. He also gained red, metal like arm coverings extending to his shoulders. Three spikes, attached by a small piece of metal, protrude from his shoulders. He gained two, cape like extensions, one of which has a symbol on it. He growled, before the Hollow charged at him. Timing it right, he let the Hollow's own momentum cleave itself on the blade. He kicked the degrading body. "Bastard."

Jack sighed. "I wasn't trying to sneak up on you, if I was, you'd never have heard me coming, anyway thats not important." He said. She was circling him now, and came up behind him, put her mouth next to his ear to wisper. Jack smiled showing no discomfort at her closeness. She was a pretty girl after all.

Then she screamed in his ear and jack winced. "OWW ok not cool, damnit." he said covering his ear. She asked what now, but he cut her off. "Hold on do you feel that?" he said. the pressense winked out in a couple of seconds. "That felt like another hollow. 2 in one place usually means there are more. I'm going to check it out" He said.

He started running to the end of the building when a chill ran down his spine, and a garganta ripped open near the girl. A hallow bullrushed her from out of the dark. "Look out!" he shouted as he his revolver from his container. He took aim and planted a bullet in its skull, dropping it inches from her but more hollow appeared out of the garganta. Jack shot a second as he moved to her side.

Sarah was annoyed at at being cut off mid sentence. She was about to tear him a new one for being so rude but, then he pulled out a gun and pointed at gun at her. Sarah as usual was so, lost in her own thoughts about getting revenge on him for being rude. She didnt notice the hollow standing behind her."Wait, wait now calm down here if you put the gun away I wont shout in your ear again."

The guy fired the gun. The moment between when the gun off till the bullet whizzed by her face was the most scared she had ever been. The guy then ran towards her and pushed her to the side. Sarah now her ass was confused and annoyed. While rubbing her head she asked "Whats going on here? You pull a gun on me and then push me to the ground. This is a terrible way to treat a lady of my standing." She looked up from the ground and saw what looked like a tear in the very fabric of reality and hollows were pouring out of it while the mysterious the caolition guy fought them.

She leapt up off the ground."Ahhh you care about me. You pushed me out of the way to protect me. I think I like you. Well then let me help." Sarah summoned her hammer. Leapt towards a hollow coming out of the rip and smashed it on the head with her hammer. "Take that you, bastard. You will not harm my saviour". She then leapt away from the rip and asked the coalition guy "How do we close this rip thingy the hollows are pouring out of?"

Saisei felt a number of Hollow appear. He jumped off the roof, and grabbed his guitar case. He then moved towards it, before seeing a Gargantua in the sky. He dropped the case, and grabbed the katana again. He brought himself up to the roof, and saw a multitude of Hollow. He saw Jack, and a girl fighting them. Jumping in, he stabbed a Hollow in the middle of it's head. He got near Jack. "Seems you got a problem here, eh, bro?" He said, swinging the katana at another Hollow, injuring it's leg.

"Crap." He said. One got in close, but Saisei blasted it away, with his Shotgun move. It flew back, and another appeared, as Saisei cleaved it again. "This is getting tiresome." He said, holding a defensive position.

Jack shot another 3 times in the chest and face before it died, and there was more where it came from. Jack cursed, there was quiet a few hollow now, merging in on himself and Sarah. "We can't close it, only an arrancar or hollow can, beyond that it wont close until they stop coming through!"

A hollow came from his left. Jack dodged around it and raised a hand, shot a powerful beam of light into the hollows back as it passed, killing it. Then he felt a familiar pressense and Saisei appeared, stabbing a hollow. "Just a little. There's way to many, i'm going to heat things up a little!" Jack said, and touched the ring on his finger, which brough memories of his mother rushing back.

Then the ring morphed and turned into the handle of a sword. A beam of fire exploded forth and then jack was wielding a blade of pure fire. He charged a hollow and parted its head from its shoulder, then shot a fireball at another. "Lass watch your flank!" Jack shouted as a hollow came in from her left, and two hollow rushed Saisei. An extra large one came barreling into jack and launched him back with a massive arm, then turned on the remaining two humans.

Sarah and the coalition guy were surrounded by hollows. They kept pouring out of the rip thingy. The coalition guy explained they cant close it only hollows or Arrancar can or if hollows stop coming pouring out of it. "Well, if that is the case we will keep fighting till they are all dead."

Sarah now really happy about getting to test her mettle in the field of battle screamed with excitement. Just as she was about to help the coalition guy fight off more hollows another guy showed and started helping with the fight. This new guy used a katana to fight. He started fight at the coalition guys side.

Sarah got distracted again looking at the two fight but, this time she snapped out of her daydream in time to hear the coalition guy warn her about the hollow to her. She quickly turned towards the hollow and smashed it in the face with her hammer. "Yeah take that you bastard"

This moment of victory was short lived because while she was celebrating the coalition guy had just gotten hit by an extra large hollow. Sarah looked at the big hollow and went to attack it with her hammer but, the hollow swung at her. She managed to soften the blow by blocking with her hammer but, the attack knocked her off the roof. As she was falling she managed to grab hold of the railing of a nearby by balcony. Pulling herself up onto the balcony she started her climb back up to the roof.

Saisei quickly took care of the two Hollows charging him, but a third appeared, and about split him down the shoulder. Saisei gasped, as pain flared in his back. However, he swung around, and managed to wound the hollow. However, this only seemed to irritate it. It lifted it's hand up, seemingly ready to end Saisei. "Well, there went my chance to surpass him." The Hollow swung down.

Only to be stopped by a white gloved hand. "My, my. What have we here?" said a man with long, white hair, pulled into a ponytail. He was wearing glasses, and underneath them, his light blue eyes were focused on the hollow. He was dressed like a priest, with red crosses on his gloves. He was wearing a cloak around his shoulders, which were accented by metal pauldrons. These also had red crosses on them. He smiled, before Saisei's blood on the ground started moving. It lurched up into the guys hand, forming a scythe. "Sorry, but you have to die." He said, slashing upwards, cleaving the hollow in two. Other Hollows circled him. He looked over at Jack. "Hey. Can you get up? Cause, I can't watch over Saisei while fighting these guys."

Jack was seeing birds swirling around his head, that blow had knocked him off kilter. He started to stand but when he heard a cry of pain his mind snapped back his days as a mercenary. Jack sealed his fullbring as a newcomer asked him to help. He nodded. "I've got this.." Jack said. His eye's darkened and the air grew thick, and suddenly power was exploding out of him. Nothing about him changed, but one could feel the difference in reiatsu, and might be able to tell he'd just entered hyper mode.

A hollow roared and jack vanished, reappeared next to it. He slammed a fist into the hollows mid rift the left a deep hole, and killed it. Most of the remaining hollow were concentrating on his reiatsu, seeing a meal that would make them strong. Others ran. They were the smart ones. Jack raised both hands towards the hollows, and two bright beams of light shot forward. He swept them over and back, tearing chunks from the hollows who didnt run.

Jack moved to possition himself in between his freinds and the remaining hollow, nero to his left. The hollow were retreating, or most were atleast, any that remained were doomed because their way out snapped shut. "Still alive, saisei? And you, thanks for the help."

As Sarah was climbing the building to get back on the roof she began to wonder if she was cut out for this kind life. "I know I've only arrived here but, am I really ready for this? I could have died from that fall back there. I mean why am I climbing back up to my death?"

Sarah finished here thoughts just as finally reached the roof again. Crawling along roof a bit she looked up towards where the coalition guy was standing. The rip was closed, most of the hollows were dead and there was now a third guy with them.

"Well guess they dont need my help.". Sarah picked herself off the ground and was about to get to safety while those three did clean up when a voice said "Look out". Sarah was then blind sided by hollow knocking her off the roof again.

As she was falling her life flashed before her eyes. "Is this it? This is how my life ends. Goodbye everyone." A tear fell down her face. The voice spoke again "Thats it you give up? Thats not the Sarah I know she wouldnt give up. Now quit acting like its all over and get back in the fight"

"Your right crazy voice in my head. Lets do this." Sarah summoned her hammer her and held it above her head and coating it in ice extending it out both ends of the hammer far enough so, it gets lodged between two buildings stopping her fall. She pulled herself up onto her newly created ice platform. The voice spoke again "Look up".

Sarah looked up and the hollow who knocked her off was falling down to hit her. She waited till the hollow was close enough and gave it a swift kick in the stomach winding the hollow. While it was winded she followed up with a kick to the face causing it stumble backwards and fall of the ice platform.

Sarah looked down to see where the hollow landed. She walked towards the center of the platform where the hammer was and shattered her ice platform. While falling she grabbed the hammer and dived bombed right in to the hollow killing it. She stood up right form the small hole she made in the ground. "I guess I am cut out for this kind of stuff after all"

Nero nodded at Jack, before turning to Saisei. Pulling out some medical supplies, and tended to Saisei's back. "Seems your shirt is finished..." He said. "Son of a bitch!" Saisei yelled, both at the pain in his back, and his shirt. "Jack. Can you get the girl over there? I 'll tend to Saisei, and I can handle myself." His blood scythe hovered around him.

Saisei's back was on fire. It was a shallow cut, but it was long,. it went from his shoulder, all the way to his hips. Nero worked furiously, as his scythe protected him from what Hollows remain. He finished, and helped Saisei up. He yelled at Jack, "If your ready to go, it might be a good time. We need to get him back to the HQ for actual medical attention!"

Jack let all his power go as the last of the hollow were fininshed off, and wow, was he tired. Not many poeple could go that far with their powers, only the really strong humans. He was not one of those humans, and was a little overwhelmed by all that power. Jack looked to Saisei but Nero was already taking care of him, so jack walked to the edge of the buildin.

He dropped off, but activated bringer light when he hit the ground, causing the concrete to absorb all the shock. Full bring was useful like that. He walked over the sarah. "Nice job, lass." He said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You could use a little training but you'll make a fine hollow slayer. We're going to HQ now, if you want to come and sign up."

Sarah was about to head back up to the roof to check on the other two but the Red hair guy she thought was a thief landed on the ground beside her. He put a hand on her shoulder. She walked away from the red haired guy and turned to look at him. "You know I never caught your name? Also just because I let you put your hand on my shoulder doesn't mean your getting any. I'm a proper lady who needs to be courted first."

Sarah looked him right in the eye to make sure he understood. "Ok, I will head to HQ with you I just hope none of the other members are a perverted as you."

"Sarah something is coming are you ready?" said the voice in Sarah's head. "What are you taking about ? What is coming? And when? " Sarah asked the voice but it gave no reply. What could it be talking about? Sarah wondered.

Oelandra wasn't looking where she was going. Her attention was completely focused on an inner conversation with her demon, Paimon. He was annoying as hell sometimes, but no one knew about him other than her - not even the Coalition with all its resources.

I told you you shouldn't have tried to take that guy's cigars and whiskey before beating up his thugs

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

No-no, that was a fine decision you made back there. A pivotal masterpiece of decisive action that Julius Caesar always ought to have aspired to. Taking that liquor and those cigars was a service to that man's weight loss and stress management.

Damn ri-

Oelandra pitched head over heels after plowing into something or someone. She wasn't entirely sure which one she'd struck, but she meant to find out as soon as her headache went away...

"Son of a.." she moaned miserably. putting a hand to her head.

While Sarah was talking to the red haired guy who was about to finally introduce himself properly when an odd looking girl bumped into him.

Sarah stared at this wide eyed in shock for moment. "Oh I see the kind of guy you are now." she said while winking at him. "You like the ones that look like a child and wear skin tight leather. You kinky perv."

Sarah walked over to the newcomer and eyed her up close. "Yes, um hum, I see, very good." After examining the newcomer Sarah came to decsion she stepped back from nthe newcomer took a deep breath "I don't like her." she slides over to the red hair guy and puts her arms around him "Please save me from this woman she is going to kill me with her pointy weapons.".

"Wait a minute what am I thinking I can defend myself." Sarah went to charge at the new girl but stopped due to a sudden pain. She feel to her knees in pain. "What's going on? What is happening to me?" "I told you something was coming." "Shut and answer me what is happening to me? And who are you?" "I am you. Well a part of you I am your sanity. I keep your bursts of crazy in check. Well most of the time but nevermind. You're changing, you're losing control again just like that time back home."

"How is that possible?" "Well when you defeated the man who was controling you he left something behind which infected your psyche and now when you act crazy you can lose control of yourself and potentially hurt the people you love" "How can I stop it?" "You can't it's too late to stop it this time." Sarah let out a large scream of pain and then got up from her knees. She was different now more serious looking but also alot more crazy.

"A good some people to play with." She went for the new girl kicking her in the gut first followed by a side kick to the head.
