Awakening

Blades clashed, as Hangyaku blocked a strike from his opponent. "You will never be rid of me, fool." He said, swiping his sword at the Sinner in front of him. They had been battling for a while. Hangyaku's left arm was bleeding, and his opponent had a scratch on his cheek. "You will not overpower me, Hangyaku." Hanyaku smiled. "Nor will you overpower me." Hangyaku blocked an overhead strike from the other Sinner, before slicing his chest. It was a shallow cut, but it irritated the Sinner to no end. "I will drain this place, to take my rightful place as Leader, you foolish idiot." Hangyaku said, pointing at the Sinner. Pure Rietsu flowed io his hand, and charged up. However, the other Sinner seemed to not be bothered by this. In fact, he was smiling at Hangyaku. "You dare smile at your extinction?! You deserve death even more now." Hangyaku said, with a sneer. The Sinner then dissapeared. "What!?" Hangyaku said, as he felt a hand on his stomach. "You shall be sealed, until a time comes when someone can control you. This is sworn by me, the King of this realm." Crystal began to engulf Hangyaku. "I see. I admit my folly, this time. Beware, though. If I return, my plans will still go ahead, whether you live that long or not." The crystal completely covered Hangyaku, his smirk still in place.

The place had been covered up, and Hangyaku's crystal prison still stands to this day. The Sinner who had sealed him, who still remains nameless, left behind something for any other leaders who come after him. Instructions, on how to free the treacherous Hangyaku. Warning is given though, that he will betray whoever frees, unless they find a way to control him. So far, no one has. But, perhaps today will be a different story......

It was the usual weather in hell this evening... Dark, gloomy, and with a chance of blood and guts falling from the top-most levels of hell. What was different was that there was someone new in charge of Hell. Lilith was merely an unfit person for leadership, with her being mute. She tried to act as leader, but she realized that could not be possible because of not being able to speak let alone lead the sinners into an army with the voice of leadership. For some reason, Lilith must have seen some potential in Xaner or she would not have given him the Diablo's Command Orb.


Well, Xaner had no plans for this day, until one of the lowest echelon sinner groups ran in and told him that they found something in the lower pits. They found a sinner sealed away, and a set of instructions on how to release him. They tried to release him, but apparently they didn't finish reading the instructions because near the end it stated that it needed the Diablo to release the sinner AND that there was a warning that the being would try to kill anyone and everyone one. Of course, Xaner thought that this person would apparently be strong if he was sealed away because he tried killing the previous Diablo.

The new Diablo was having problems, however, on how to figure out how to go about making this selfish sinner work for him. After wracking his brain for a couple of minutes, he remembered reading in Dante's journal about an item in the Diablo's treasury that was hidden and not well known about that basically makes anyone the Diablo's slave. So, he strolls into the treasure room of the castle after walking through countless hallways and finds the area described in the journal where the item was supposed to be located. There was a chest in the location and, when Xaner opened it up, he found two Jet Black Bracers (Think King Kazma, except the size of those 'I <3 Boobies' wristbands AND don't jut out like KK's).

After a good couple of hours, Xaner finally gets to the area that the sinner squad was talking about. He was lead there by Oguchi, a green eyeball with arms and legs. He was obviously a rejected sinner as shown by his demonic look, rejected of having the power of breaking hell's grasp. Not many cases of Oguchi have occured, but there were a few cases where there were sinners that didn't look human...

Xaner then reads the instructions on how to release the crystal seal. Simple enough... He walked away until he was about 15 feet from the sealed man and then turns around. "Preshna Oki no Kema dah Vris!" Xaner chanted, since this was what was needed to be said to break the seal. The crystal started to crack. Crackle crackle crackle... Until, it shattered into shards, then dust, then nothingness. Xaner then says to the being, "May I ask who you are and what the last thing you remember is?"

The new Diablo did not really care about what happened that got him crystallized, he just said this to see how the man before him reacted after being sealed for so long. And, just in case, he set up his Territory ability in the 10 foot radius around him. However, for Oguchi who was practically poking the unfrozen man, was out of the Territory ability's range of protection. Xaner didn't say anything though, because this would also prove useful in determining who this man was...

Hangyaku felt the words. The crystal stirred, and jolts of energy flashed through his system. The crystal broke. Breathing in a breath, it was almost like he was born again. His eyes first fell onto a Oguchi. It poked him. Only twice. The "only" because Hangyaku gripped his sword, and sliced the creature into bits. He spat onto it, before turning his eyes onto the man in front of him. "I am Hangyaku Chitose." He said, standing up. Hangyaku kept his blade drawn. "You must be the new leader of this place......Yes. I can feel it. I can also tell just how young you are.....Are you sure you are ready for the challenges ahead, boy?" Hangyaku said, a smile gracing his lips.

"You are nothing like the one who sealed me away.......You are but a child wearing men's clothes. I owe you no allegiance, just as I owed no allegiance to him." Hangyaku then sheathed his blade. "However, I will answer your question. The very last thing I remember is being sealed inside that cursed crystal." He then put on a curious face. "You must know why I was sealed in that thing. Then, as I said before, you know you hold nothing over me. I will finally leave this place, and take what is mine..." Hangyaku merely observed the man now. Noting any changes in position he made. But, his cold, dead, red eyes would always be looking directly into the Diablo's eyes.

Xaner smiles behind his mask as he watches the newly awakened Sinner kill Oguchi... Xaner always hated Oguchi... Anywho, the person started talking to him then... Introduced himself as being Hangyaku Chitose, having the last thing he saw being him getting crystalized, and than him challenging his own Authority... Well, it was true...

"I agree with you when you say that I am young and not as experienced as the other Diablos, for sure. In fact, you are more right than you would have ever thought, since I'm just a little over a couple months old as a sinner," Xaner says, giving a weak chuckle at the end, but the continues on, "But that does not mean I am weak. What you feel right now is barely a fraction. And my strength is not my best quality... But that is a topic for another day"

Xaner raises his arm and slowly pulls down his sinner mask, revealing his mouth for the first time ever since he was a day or two old. It can be seen that his mouth was deteriorated and burnt, instead of what it looked like a couple days after his death being nearly like a human's. In fact, it looked like he had Two-face's jaw, with the burnt side all over the mouth and jaw... With that movement, his slight pressure exploded. It can only be felt as being a slight pressure, but it can be felt that his reiatsui's intensity has more then tenfolded...

"I am strong on my own, but pale in comparison to the other Diablos. But I am the first to become Diablo at a young age. And, as good wine does, my power will age in time. And I would like your assistance to help reach that goal. Because I do appreciate your power. But, if you think you can be a much better ruler than I can be, then strike me down with a single blow." Xaner finishes off with, taking his arms out of his pockets and outwards like the symbol of the crucifixed god... However, up his left sleeve were the manacles. Knowing Hangyaku from what he had read and what the guy had said, the guy will try to kill Xaner on the spot... That's when he'll make his move.
