The Challenge between Ty and Diath

Ty stretched out his arms a bit, and looked her up and down carefully especially when she suggested that the two of them took up some practice to see what he was able to do. Well to be honest he was rather curious to see what this 'shapeshifter' could do in a fight as well. He nodded in agreement to her suggestion and waved a hand towards the feilds that had been set up specifically for situations like this.

He watched her every movement as she moved in front of him watching for her particular movements and what she did when she moved. Looking for tells that could give away particular moves, or at least studied how she moved normally as a base to compare against when they step into a fight. Moving towards the feild he moved first to step into the clearing and moved towards the center of the feild, reaching to his side and drew out his sword and offered her a salute with the blade before undoing the sheath from his side and laid it down on the ground far from where the battle was likely to occur.

"Please bare with me, it has been a little bit since I have been in a sparing match so I might be a little bit rusty." He explained running his palm over the back unsharpened portion of the blade of the sword whispering "Kami no te no shīrudo subete." a yellowish red bright flame seems to expand from the hilt following his hand as it went down the blade, the blade seeming to enlarge as he did so. The flame disappearing but the blade still glowed with a yellowish tinge. "I am ready to begin when you are."

Diath followed Ty towards the training field. Diath took position across from Ty and waited for him to prepare, but she did not draw the zanpakuto at her hip. Instead she pulled a blue clip from her hair, holding it between her thumb and for finger. She flexed her shoulders and relaxed her muscles, holding herself as she normally would until she needed to move.

As soon as Ty said he was ready Diath sprang. She could not shunpo well, but her overal speed was great. She closed the distance within seconds, as she thrust with her clip. As she did, she fed the clip a small amount of reiatsu and it transformed into a 5 foot spear, point first speeding towards Ty. She aimed to hit the right of ty's ribs, just at the edge so it would leave a cut but not actually peirce his lung.

As the spear thrust past ty she lowered it and swept for his leg to trip him. She followed with a kick aimed for the mid riff before flipping back and throwing up a hand. "Hado 31, shakkaho!" She said launching a red ball of energy at ty. She twirled the spear and readied for him to counter.

Swings the now much larger zanpakuto and strikes the spear to push the spear tip away from him and downwards towards the ground, and with all of his strength holding it in place to stop the attempted sweep at his legs. He smiled at her and whispered "Ten-te ga watashi o mamoru." Activating the Zanpakuto's Shikai, no apparent effect occurs.

She was fast and he didnt see the foot coming while distracted by countering the spear strike, sweep and activating the shikai. He cursed slightly and grunted in pain, as the kick struck him in the side sending him over the spear and to the ground where he rolled back to his knees, when she pushed her attack. The red ball of energy riping free from her hand straight at his chest.

The result probably wasnt what she expected as the red blast plowed into what appeared to be his chest but, there was a Blue shimmering in front of the energy ball that seemed to absorb the blow and the bast all together. "Nice moves." He smiled leaping back to his feet, and while he was in mid-air he yells "Emperor of the North wind whose blessings I seek, breath upon my foes and let them witness true terror! Hado Number 35." He lands with his hand straight up in the air.

Clouds seem to quickly appear over their combat zone and Hail stones begin to collect around the two of them, dozens of large hail stones. He smiled and crushed his hands and the dozens of stones streak with crushing force towards Diath, completely avoiding Ty all together.

Diath raised an eyebrow when the hado hit but all that seemed to happen was a blue light appeared and the fireball vanished. Well that was different, he had some sort of anti energy shield in place making hado useless, unless she wanted to risk killing him with Gáe bolg. He cast his own hado. She wasn't familiar with the incantation so she hesitated to see what it did, and almost left it to late.

Diath seen the halestones forming and back peddled as the shot towards her before throwing up her hands. Bakudo 39, Enkosen! The attack slammed into the shield and smashed against it, but without the incantation it wasn't enough to block it fully and a cluster of halestones broke through and slammed into her chest. She was tossed back onto her back but rolled and recovered to her feet in an instant.

Diath caughed a little, her chest aching. Any closer to her ribs and she'd probably have ended up with the bones broken again. She drew her katana at the same time as converting her spear back and returning the hair clip to its original place. "Nice hado, its not one i'm familiar with, so you caught me out there. Lets see if you can keep up. Show your fangs, alysodemέnos."

Diath caught the blade of her sword with her free hand and pulled, causing it to split as an form into a pair of spears. The yellow spear she held in her left hand was 5 foot long, in her right hand she held a red spear that was seven foot long. Each weapon represented a part of her zanpakuto, the yellow was a representation of alysodemέnos' strike speed, the red a sign of his venomous fangs.

Ty was about 15 feet away, the perfect distance for her. She drew back her arm and threw the yellow spear, but it propelled itself, moving at 2 the speed of a cero and with about the same force of a cero behind it. There was nothing energy based about that attack, it should go right through his shield. She darted in after and followed up with a quick flurry of 3 jabs using the red spear, aiming for non vital points. she did not apply a venom, just yet.

"Its something that can be taught. Its something very few people have seen, but its not my only." Watches as she draws out her sword, giving her the time to prep her weapon as she had him earlier. He took the second to catch his breath, neither of them had drawn blood from the other....yet....but both of them had hurt the other. He watched as the weapons awakened and then her throwing the big spear.

The thing was damned fast and utilizing Shunpo he attempted to get out of the way of the Yellow spear but this was only partially successfull, the spear tearing through the sleeve of his left arm and cut the skin beneath, it was enough to draw blood. But it would keep flying, his shunpo howeever would put him well out of position for Diaths follow up attack to hit him that were moving much slower then the initial spear.

He came out of the Shunpo about twenty feet from Diath, he was happy that for the moment that at least one of the spears was out of her hands for the moment. Leaving her with only one weapon for the moment. He spun around and decided that this was a time to see what the Captains new kidou will do in combat. He spoke loudly as he started a back flip "“Heavens bring forth the Dragon of the Earth Smite my enemies, devour them! Hadou 57 Ten No Doragon” as he thrust his hand down onto the ground to stabilize his back flip and to activate the Kidou.

From the ground and his hand a twenty foot long and five foot wide Serphentine dragon of stone and ground would rise, it has sabre-tooth like teeth and a completely chaotic path as it seemed to target in on Diath with a randomly changing path, moving side to side and such as if it was trying to avoid incoming attacks. The thing would try to plow in on Diath like a massive battering ram. Weather it hit her or not it would cause a massive explosion of earth and ground as it slammed into the ground where she currently is.

When he landed back on his feet he was breathing pretty heavily, and bleeding slightly he would not be able to keep up this pace infinitely, he was starting to feel a drain on his Reitsu after having two strong Kido in such quick succession.

The spear missed and Ty moved well out of the way as she lunged in to thrust, She stopped after the first and focused on him. Ty was half way through a back flip, balancing on one hand as he spoke an incantation and the earth began to shake. Then a serpent rose from the earth. She really needed to read up on her kido, she was clearly forgetting some.

Diath clicked her fingers and the yellow spear that she'd thrown dematerialised. She flurished a hand and it reappeared in the air next to her. snatching it up she crossed the spears and attempted to block the snake of earth that came crashing down on her. The blow sent her sliding back at the front of the snakes nose, sending shockwaves down her arms. It stopped and she kept flying back.

Diath stopped herself and tensed, waiting for its next attack. She rushed in and dodged around it and rushed at Ty. She closed in and stabbed at Ty's arm with the red spear which was now coated in a sickness venom. if hit, Ty would feel sick to his stomuch and probably throw up. Even if he did the feeling of nausia wouldn't go away for 2 posts.

As she moves to block the dragon his eyes target her two spear tips and then her chest personally. He brings his hands together both index fingers coming together with a spark and he points both finger tips at her and snarls out "Carry the arched fool to the gates of torn hearts! Hado Number 15!" Lightning rips out of his hands and first would attempt to hit the tip of the larger spear, then the lightning then would attempt to leap to the tip of the second spear and then attempt to leap right into the chest of Diath. He was hoping to use this to finish this fight, having scrapped together the last reserves for this hard hitting Kidou. Humans would call this Chain Lightning, skipping between targets in short range of each other.

When she ran into him and attempted to stab him with with her spear he brought the Zanpakuto up and directly into the path of the spear, the spear tip would find the flat of the overly large Katana blad that, while awakened was quite a bit wider then the average blade. This would for the moment block the strike but he knew that that wasnt the only threat, He lept backwards afterwards attempting to get himself clear of the second spear.

He was exhausted for the moment, this fight wasn't going as easily as he thought it might, nor was he in as good shape that he initially thought he was in, this fight proved that he required more practice. Now he had to find a way to keep her busy while recovered enough to utilize more of his Kidou spells, the next one he planned to use was the other Kidou that the Captain had taught him, but he was still unsure if he wanted to use it. It was a pretty severe and devestating Kidou, and this was only a sparing match not a fight to severly hurt someone.

He Shunpoed furhter back to keep some distance between the two of them for the moment, his hand finding its way to his arm where he wiped away some blood and then he tenderly tested his ribs to make sure there was no broken ribs from her strike.

Lightning hit the long spear, then the short, and slammed into her chest sending the girl flying. Diath recovered after a couple of seconds, caughing up a minor amount of blood. Thats never good, she figured shed be going back to the 4th squad again. She pushed herself to her feet and charged Ty attacking with the poison, which he blocked. Ty shunpo'd away.

Diath smiled. "You've got quiet a few tricks up your sleeve dont you. Well, dont think you've beaten me from a few light knocks, kid." Diath said. "Bakudo 27, Kyakko!" Diath vanished from sight and sense. She stepped up onto the air, using air walk to conceal her footsteps. Being a snake, it was fitting she could use stealth.

Diath circled ty with quick bursts of speed, looking for an opening to strike. She found her target, his left rear side, and rushed in. As soon as she moved her spear to attack, the spell broke, but she was already next to ty, thrusting the red spear, still coated with its sickness poison. She aimed high for the shoulder, a hard spot to block at this angle.

Curses as she dissappears and drops to a crouched position, watching carefully around waiting for anything that would give up her position. But nothing came, he waited turning around in his position quickly attempting to make himself as hard of a target as possible to an invisible foe. He snarled, this kind of fighting he detested, invisibility is close to dishonorable in his eyes. As he turned she gave up her position and rushed in with an attack.

"Gah!" he yellled out in surprise as she came in, lashing out with a bone jarring punch aimed right at her chest as she was most likely going to hit him she was too short range and two quick to even Shunpo out of the path. So he channeled all of his skill in Hakuda into Oni Headpoke, before the punch landed on her it would stop and he would flick her with a finger. If it hit the strike would hit with enough physical force to send an her flying a considerable distance away, even with enough power to crash through a couple of the nearby walls.

Granted this move had its downside, her poisoned spear tip would again tear through his uniforms sleave and slice through the skin over his shoulder delivering the poison into his blood system. But her movement put her in the position that allowed him to strike her.

Following this he fell to his knees and started throwing up from the posion along with the exhaustian from using the Kidou he was now effectively out of the fight.

Diath seen the punch and ducked her head to the side so the arm passed over. If she was anyone else that would have hit but her speed and reflexes and flexabilty saved her there. Ty's last ditch attempt failed and her spear hit home, tearing into his arm. She backed away, ready for more attacks, but when he dropped to his knees and started throwing up, she lowered her weapons.

She stabbed the two spears into the ground and tapped the bottom of the yellow one. A long thin needle popped out. Watching him throw up made her feel sorry for him, the fight was clearly over. She took the needle in hand and pricked ty in the neck, administering a cure for that particular venom. "There, that should make you feel better in a few seconds. I felt sorry for you." She said and gave him a few minutes to recover. She resealed her katana and returned it to its sheath.

Coughs and throws up again and struggles to his feet even before she pricked him, but stumbles and falls back to his knee, finally giving up the spar match. He allowed his sword to fall from his hand indicating his relenting the fight, he felt the prick and incidentally threw up on her as she did so. "Sorry." he said quickly, "You fight incredibly well, No doubting why you are a vice captain."

He placed his hand on the hilt of his Zanpakuto and sealed it, the weapon returned to its normal size. After another round of dry heaving and a small throw up he finally started feeling better. He slowly rose to his feet picking up his sword and pushing the sword back into its hild and offering Diath a hand. "Good match, maybe in the future you can give me a rematch?"

He reached into his jacket and pulled out a cloth and placed it against his shoulder with pressure, attempting to stop the bleeding that was occuring. "The invisibility trick was....interesting." He shook his head trying to clear the light headedness of the combination of poison and Reitsu exhaustion, but he knew that it was going to continue to effect him for a little while.

Diath raised an eyebrow when he threw up on her. "Thanks for that, next time aim away." She nodded in answer. "Lets just keep how strong I am a secret. I'm not suppose to show off." She said. Then he asked her a question to which she replied, [color=olive]"Anytime. i could use a training partner as capable as you."/color]

Diath Sat down in the grass hard, ignoring the vomit's smell. She was a little to tired to care, with her current injuries, especailly because the lightning bolt had agrevated her ribs even more. "I'm a snake and a spy, what kind of snake would I be if i couldn't fight with stealth, Ty." She said in reply.

"You should probably sit and rest for a few minutes, you look exausted. Then I think we need to pay the fouth squad a visit. Just dont tell captain sessamaru you shot me with the lightning bolt, he was mad enough at temida for breaking my ribs, and he wont be happy i've gotten myself hurt again so soon."

"Yeah I will aim away next time." He Chuckled and then chuckled again about the spy and stealth thing. "Yeah I suppose your right being invisible would be very useful for you." He nodded his head in agreement to keeping the fight in general quiet, he wouldnt necessarily want people to know that she beat him so thoroughly. "Anytime you need a work out let me know and if I am able to I will be glad too."

He took a seat after she reccomended sitting down. "Yeah Pale Chain Lightning can be quite devestating at full strength. But I got to admit, when your mentioning about your brother, I have already met him, the dragon strike was a Kidou that he taught me a few days ago." He smiled. "But I didnt know about his shapeshifting ability, so I must ask him about that."

"Yeah a trip to the fourth might be advisable, just to make sure i dont have any after effects from what I assume is a poison?"he commented. "Don't suppose a trade of Kidou might be doable for your invisible skill? It could possibly come in handy to me."

"You've met temida?" She said, surprised. "Well that explains where you leaarned some of those kido. My brother has a nack for making them, and not sharing with me. " She shook her head. "I know my venoms inside out, you'll be fine. The cure i gave you should make it go away quick enough. I've tested them on myself, thats how i know the cures work. Honestly the one i hit you is not nice but its not the worst."

Diath considered it, and nodded. "Ok, i'll teach you to use kyakko, but I'd like to learn that chain lighning kido of yours if you think thats a fair trade." She said. Diath stood up and offered Ty a hand. "Come on, lets go get patched up. I Need to get out of these clothes."

"Oh the dragon was one of his, the lightning was one of my own makes." he smiled taking her hand and pulling himself up with her help. "Alright, that Shikai of yours is pretty powerful, I'd hate to see the power of your Bankai, or worse." He chuckled as he led her towards the fourth divisions offices, they were both pretty beat up.

"That is a very fair trade, but I will need to wait until both of us fully recovers from injuries, the chain lightning can be rather tempermental when your first learning it and has some chance of doing more damage to the new user then what they are targeting." He pointed out, he held his tongue on the getting out of the clothes but mentally chuckled to himself.
